But for some of us, that healing gets stuck. We find ourselves returning to that moment over and over.
When trauma gets stuck, we sometimes need a hand to jumpstart our natural resilience and post traumatic growth.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
In therapy, I assume you have already tried the obvious solutions. My role is to help you come up with creative solutions to complex problems and maybe suggest something you haven't thought of before.
Therapy with me will often include learning about the brain and body responses to trauma, increasing your sense of safety now, building self compassion for the tools that helped you survive, helping you assess if they are still needed in your present life, and designing a life you’ll love to live in.
